Misfit Warning: This soap bar is what we deem a “misfit”, the design did not come out as we’d hoped. It’s still a lovely bar of soap with a gentle scent and great lather, which is why we are selling it at a discounted price. 

By the time I found you, Clytie, it was too late. You were already enamored with another, oblivious to my presence. Perched on pieces of cedar driftwood, I watched you dance by the water’s edge. Your steps, once joyful, paused in sorrow as you cried for a lover never to be. For nine days you withered away until the gods intervened, transforming you into a heliotrope. Your petals are bruised in hues of purple, pink, and blue, with golden teardrops forever staining your honey face. Now, as a delicate flower, you follow your beloved's movement across the sky. Unlike me, his indifference endures, never taking notice, never meeting your gaze. Your anguish is, eternal frozen in time.

Centuries later, I still roam the earth, alone, an immortal messenger confined to the body of a crow. I’m drawn to the pain of others and those who share the burden of unrequited love. I offer them relief and my companionship. In these moments memories of Clytie and myself come flooding back. Small gifts, collected over time are left on the afflicted’s windowsills or at the foot of their door. These trinkets accompany silent vigils and remind them they are not alone. Even in the darkest of times.
